In SAS® Credit Scoring for banking, a subject with an outcome variable value other than 0 or 1 is an indeterminate target. An indeterminate can be treated as good when development data details are calculated.
However, if there are indeterminate values, then the count of bads is incorrect. The count of total bads is increased for every indeterminate account or customer. As a result, the calculated NO_OF_DEFAULTS value that is used to calculate model monitoring measures is also incorrect.
